Level 4 Covid 19

During the Level 4 Covid 19 response our physical clinics will be closed but we are excited to be able to offer Telehealth online consultations so that you can continue your rehab while you are at home.

Level 2

With the move to Level 2 Covid-19 Restrictions we are able to now see people face to face in the clinic. Advice from the Ministry of Health is that Telehealth is still the preferred option for Physiotherapy Services.
We will be offering both in clinic and Telehealth options and your treating Physiotherapist will discuss these with you.

Initial Assessment appointments will be via Telehealth. During this 45 minute consultation your Physio will do a comprehensive interview assessment just as they would in the clinic, they will assess your movement and function, and give initial advice and education, including prescribing exercises. They will then discuss with you the best option for your ongoing care and book you in for a follow-up, in the clinic or on Telehealth as appropriate.

Over the time of Level 3 and 4 restrictions we have been using Telehealth and have been getting great results and feedback from our clients but equally we are very happy to be able to offer face to face in clinic sessions and do hands on treatment again.
We have made many changes to how we operate in order to keep our staff, our clients and our community safe.

When you arrive at the clinic you will be directed to use hand sanitiser, asked Covid-19 screening questions and have your temperature recorded via a contactless thermometer.
When you come into the clinic for an appointment we would appreciate it, where possible you come alone to enable us to maintain safe numbers in the waiting and reception area.  We do understand that some may need a support person present.  This person will need to answer our health screening questions and will need to give us their contact details for contact tracing purposes.

To assist with distancing requirements we have changed our treatment times to allow for cleaning between patients, and limit the number of people in the reception, waiting area at any one time.  Chairs have been spaced out in the waiting area.  We ask that you be on time for your appointment and not to arrive at the clinic more than 5 minutes before your time.

Please bring appropriate clothing for your appointment eg shorts for lower limb conditions, camisole tops or singlets for neck, upper back, shoulder and arm conditions.  We will not be able to provide these in the clinic.  If you have exercise bands etc that you may use for your exercises please also bring those as we cannot share such equipment between patients
We have face masks available for staff to use as per Ministry of Health guidelines.  You may request your treating Physiotherapist wear a mask.

Finally if you answer yes to any of these questions on the day of your appointment please do not come to the clinic.  Please contact us and we can arrange for a Telehealth appointment
